Traumatic Brain Injury
Psychotherapy for Individuals with a Brain Injury and Their Families
Following a brain injury, many aspects of life can change. A person may experience both biological changes and shifts in living circumstances that impact mental health and emotional well-being. People who never experienced anxiety or depression before their brain injury often need additional emotional support afterwards. I treat individuals struggling with:
Identity post injury-"who am I now?"
Anger
Apathy
We also help families cope with changes and provide education and support so that they can give their loved ones the best care possible.
